Update: Important Water Notice

We were informed that the water levels are good at this time, PLEASE run all pipes clean, best done by turning on all faucets, running the water about 5 minutes including hot, then turning them off from the front of the house to the back.  Is still may be a good idea to boil drinking water for the next 24 hours, but  James stated the water was good to go.

Important Water Notice

The city became aware of a water problem Sunday morning at 9:00am, 3/27/16, that effected residents south of 916. The chlorine levels were higher than maximum levels.  Due to possible health concerns, do not drink or consume city water, unless you boil the water first, until further notice.  It is safe for bathing.  The city employees have been working on the problem all day.  All the main water lines are being flushed and cleaned.  If any citizens have complaints, please contact city hall Monday morning.  If you notice problems or concerns in the future, please report it to 817-373-2600.
